A Walk to Remember.

September 27, 2010/kids

We are enjoying the lingering warmth of summer… taking walks after dinner before bed.

Looking at the back of this sweet head always brings a smile to my face.

Natalie always finds some sort of “nature” to carry home.

“Mommy, my legs are hurting and about to fall off!”

But wouldn’t you know our princess dug in and made it all the way up the hill. She’s growing up. Sniff. Sniff.

And the boy – he just grinned the whole time.

Hey, Leighann…maybe it’s me, but looking down the street in the first pic brought back memories to me of our walks to the church and the park in your neighborhood in Cheverly. Those were some of the best memories of my childhood, getting to visit with you guys! Thanks for sharing your kiddos with us…
    Love you all! 🙂

That is what good memories are made of. “The Boy” comment made me laugh. I did not realize we made reference to Josiah as “The boy” as much as we did until Savannah said “Are we going to pick up The Boy right now”? What Savannah? The boy, are we picking up THE BOY.. Savvy what are you talking about. My Brudder THE BOY…so now we are making more of an effort to say Josiah’s name instead of saying The Boy LOL…
