We are going home!
The kids and I have been staying at my mom’s house the last three weeks with Henry coming here on the weekends. Knowing there is an eventual house to go to has made the last few weeks much like a vacation. I’ve gone back and forth between my mom’s and my sister’s houses without many plans.
There have been projects – little things Johanna and mom have wanted to do for some time, but caught up in life haven’t had a chance to get to. I’ve been able to help them clean, paint, stain wood, and try new recipes. All these things were fun, but I’m ready to start doing them to my own home.
We don’t have to wait much longer… we close on Tuesday and the movers come Wednesday! Whoot, whoot!
