We had a birthday party on Saturday for Natalie’s fifth birthday. We invited several families that we hang out with a lot, but most were down for the count with strep or H1N1, so we cordially uninvited them. However, there were some family and friends who were able to make it still and Natalie was soooo excited. She’s been wanting to have a party complete with guests for months now and her dream finally came true. Henry took her Saturday morning to get balloons for all the kids who were coming to take home with them at the end.

So cute, happy birthday Natalie..
your kids are awesome! I can’t believe Natalie is 5. It’s crazy. Your cake looks so good. Also did you get a new kitchen table?
WOW, you are doing a great job parenting your children. I love all the cute things they say. What nice values they have allready. Praying for your little boy and family.
I enjoyed visiting your blog today and reading more about Ryan and your family. The birthday post reminded me of the cupcakes last week. I asked Natalie if she wanted to share the cupcakes with her buddy’s class. She said,” oh yes! She would like that and it is good to share.”
Then yesterday as the class was leaving the room, she came back to turn off the lights. “It’s not my job today, but it’s good to save electricity.”
So wise, your Natalie!
