Henry and I went to dinner the other night with Ryan in tow for the first time. It was interesting to say the least. First, our waitress was a hoot. She made several comments that had us wetting our pants (us figuratively, Ryan literally). One was when she asked me if I liked the tomatillo sauce. I responded by saying, it was okay, but I preferred my meal without it. She said, “Oh, like liver. People eat it, but prefer not to.”

reading your blog tonite is the highlite of my night. TOO FUNNY!
well, at least you got to go out 🙂 Glad your waitress made you laugh!
You and Henry are so blessed to have such a great sense of humor to get you through all of these happenings. I could “hear” your voice in your writing and you made me laugh!
We all need to look at these “fun” times of being a parent with the same humble, funny, savoring, and honest attitude.
you are hysterical!
Glad you have your sense of humor about it. Too funny and glad you could get out, how wonderful for you both.
you have no idea how much I needed that laugh! this week has been all downhill for us.
Hahahahahahaha what a crazy night and you are amazing at how you handled it!!
I hope the rest of the evening went well!
Jeez Leighann, how vulgar! Is that how a lady talks? ;P hehe It was so nice to see you today and to finally meet Ryan! He is a precious little man, and Kim was jealous.
I’m just catching up on your blog and I LOVE this post. The part about holding up Ryan and sniffing his crotch…I did that all the time with my kids, not realizing when I was in public and when I wasn’t. In fact, I still do that with the little one, even though he’s over 1 year old! NICE!
