Yes, I know it’s not even Thanksgiving yet

November 13, 2009/Miscellaneous
Last year, Henry and I were introduced to an organization called Charity: Water by Jody, mother to six, who became passionate about water issues in developing and third world countries when she and her husband were looking into adopting a child from Africa. Once she became aware of the dangers of contaminated water and the scarcity of clean water in these areas, she set out to make a difference. Today, Friday, November 13, is First Gift day.  Imagine the difference we can make by coming together, on this day, to give the gift of water to those who are dying without it.

I dont think that I have ever commented on here before. However, I have been following your blog for quite some time. When I saw the opportunity to donate for clean water, I jumped on it. I live in Nebraska and we are blessed to have the largest underground lake (aquifer) in the country, along with abundant, clean water every single day. I hope that everyone who reads this will do the same and donate today. What a simple way to make such a difference! Happy Holidays!
