Where’s the soap?

January 11, 2009/Miscellaneous

One of my biggest pet peeves is when there is no soap in a public restroom, especially a restaurant. Tonight, we went to a chinese restaurant in the city and when I went to wash my hands, no more than a bubble came out of the dispenser. Nice. It really should be noted in all these restaurants the health department requires a sign that says ‘Employees must wash hands before returning to work.’  It seems to me they should also require soap to be supplied.

It reminds me of a couple weeks ago we stopped at a gas station to go to the bathroom and there when I went to get soap, there wasn’t even a dispenser. No dispenser, no pump bottle, not even a soap dish where soap used to be. Hello, people, this is gross. At least pretend you wanted us to use soap. And we wonder why we are all running around with colds and the flu. Didn’t we learn anything from Ignaz Semmelweis?

Hey – don’t know how I found you but I enjoy reading your blog…my heart is with you for your ordeal with your unborn child. I know God is in control – it’s just hard right now – no doubt. I just had a miscarrriage a few months ago and it’s been hard. It was child#4 for us.(we have 3) So, we’re trying again, but still know God is completely in control over all that as well. We momma’s have such tender vulnerable hearts when it comes to our babies. Be encouraged. This, too shall pass. One day it will. From one momma to another, though I’ll be totally praying for you and your child and your family. I can’t wait to see what God’s gonna do!!! He is known for being perfectly on time! I have a blog, too.
