visiting with family

June 12, 2013/Family

I have a vivid imagination. You know those shows like Criminal Minds or Without a Trace where they show the victims doing things on their last known day? Many times as I’m going about my day, I can see us doing our thing and then the camera shot fading out, as if we’ve disappeared (Without a Trace style). It happened again the other day…. Ryan and I were in an isolated area dropping a key off at a closed police station (how can a police station be closed I ask), when I saw us disappearing off the screen. Creepy….

Is there anyone else out there that’s weird like me? I know this happens to my sister Katie so I’m not the only one…. but anyone else?

Speaking of sisters, I’m down at my mom’s for a few days hanging out with my sisters and brother. All six of us sisters and my mom were sitting in Chick-Fil-A Monday watching the kids play since it was raining outside. John happened to drive by, wave at my brother-in-law Bobby, and KEEP DRIVING. I cannot for the life of me figure out why he chose to keep going once he saw seven of the most important women in his life sitting in Chick-Fil-A chatting. I would’ve stopped. For sure. At least for the tea.

In other news, Ryan got a haircut. My pictures are uploading upside-down from my phone and I’m not on my computer so I can’t fix them so no pictures here. I’ll upload one to facebook. He’s super cute and it changed his looks completely. He’s such a big boy.

Ainsley may be sick. The jury’s still out. She laid down for a nap an hour and a half ago and has yet to get up. I’m praying she’s just tired.

I forgot to mail my Father’s Day cards before I left. It’s going to be pretty anticlimatic for me to mail them next week. Just sayin’.

My sister Dottie brought me a macaron from my favorite bakery in DC on her way here from the airport. Whoot whoot!

Um, that’s it. It’s not raining today. First of several, so maybe the 13 monkeys climbing the walls of my mother’s house will be able to work off their energy OUTSIDE.

Anything fun happening where you are?

Oh my gosh, yes! I watch so many of those crime shows that I am always envisioning creepy stuff like that. However, I must admit, that most of the time I am thinking that my life resembles a sitcom because of the weird conversations and predicaments I find myself in. I have several “Seinfeld” moments every day and sometimes I want to look around to make sure their aren’t cameras filming and that there isn’t a laugh track…….

Yikes, I would start singing Jesus Loves me, I don’t know just saying LOL….
We are doing a Family style VBS this week. The whole family goes, last night we had so much fun we went station to station like usual, but one station had us lauging till we almost wet ourselves, we used short pool noodles to keep 3 baloons in the air we just had a blast and we are going to do that more often as a family at home, we played eat the cookie on your face without your hands, Sailor was so darn cute. It was so sweet to watch them dance during praise and worship up front.
Mark has found 4 VBS’s for us to go to this summer, keeps the kids busy and learning so it’s all good. Looking so frugal fun this summer besides summer home school.

    1. Yes I think about my life being a show all the time… whether comedy or murder mystery, it happens all the time. Haha I believe it that Katie thinks that too. Did we tell you she told the cop that she was quite imaginative when we got pulled over the other day. Just saying.
    2. It was so good to see you! Glad you enjoyed the Macaroon 😉
    3. That’s it.

    Love!
