I’ve always had this thing about Russia

March 17, 2014/Family

We are at it again… this time for a Russian news station out of NYC. Ryan was fascinated by the camera.

The crew came on Saturday to conduct an interview and tape us being a “normal” family.

Olag taping the kids playing in the dirt. This is not put on. They really do occasionally play under this tree in the mulch.

Ryan reporting the weather under Ainsley’s direction. “It will be very rainy and sunny today with a lot of hurricanes….”

These interviews are always give and take. We never really know what the crew’s agenda is. Especially in this case where our interview will be dubbed into Russian, we have to give complete trust that we won’t be misquoted. I’ve been misquoted before AND had words put into my mouth and feelings attributed that I’ve never had so I always feel like I’m going out on a limb. The reason I continue to grant access to our family and our story is because in the end, if one person who is facing something similar sees our story and starts to research us they will find the truth. And they will find hope.

So if you are here from there: уже бог благословит вас!
