“You broke the bonds and you loose the chains
Carried the cross of my shame
You know I believe it”

U who?  U2, or course!
I’ve obviously never had a competition on my blog before. I thought of it on the way to the hospital on Monday and didn’t put much thought into the order of the clues. It probably would have been a good idea to post the first clue as the last being that the second person to guess where were going got it right!
Mrs. Smith, please email me and let me know your address and I will send you your prize.
We are in Charlottesville, Va. where we saw these men in concert last night. It rocked!

that is awesome! I had friends who went to it too… and they were just here in Europe in two neighboring countries but we didn’t go… too much to juggle with kiddos and traveling…etc… hope you had a blast!

I am so jealous. This is the one band that I would love to see. I am so mad I missed a couple of days of your blogs, I would have had that one! They have always been one of my favoriets, even though Jesse goes crazy because of their political view:) Hope you had a great time. Love you. Amanda L

I went to see them at FedEx Field on Tuesday night and they were AWESOME!! I saw them in England in 1987, but that didn’t come close to comparing to this concert. Maybe something to do with age and understanding the meaning of their songs. I am not a religius person, but I felt like I was in church hearing a great sermon (at least I think that is what it must feel like). Their songs are so powerful! Not sure if they say the same thing at every concert, but Bono gave a shout out to President Bush for all he did in Africa before they say the song “One”. I thought that was an amazing statement (since we know what side of the political fence Bono sits on). I hope you had a relaxing weekend together and got some much needed rest and peace!
