Two weeks down…

April 11, 2011/Miscellaneous

I have no pictures from the weekend. I was too busy relaxing to take any.

I picked the girls up from school on Friday and went to my mom’s house about an hour and a half from here. It was easier than trying to keep the house clean all weekend for the open house. Henry met us there.
We basically ate and hung out all weekend. Watched a movie, played some games, went to church. I treasure the time as a family.
I’m realizing Henry and I touch each other a lot. We say we aren’t touch people, but there’s always a lot of touching in passing and quiet sitting together at night. I miss the touching. When I first see him on the weekends all I want to do is sit with him for a few minutes. I don’t need talking, I just need a quiet embrace. A long one. Then we can start the weekend.
And the parting is hard for both of us. Two weeks down….
p.s. On the house front… the open house went well. We’ll see what happens.
p.s.s. We played a game called Museum Caper yesterday with Jason and Stephanie, Henry’s cousin and wife. We’ve been playing this game with them since we were teenagers – we figured it out yesterday to be 18 years. Is there anyone who has played this game? We’re so curious to know.

Awww…I am glad you got to spend time with Henry and the extended family. I am a “touch” person too. There is such comfort in it.
I love a good {{Hug}} and I try to give them to other people because I love them so much!

Hope the house sells quickly. And that God’s timing will be perfect for you with the moving.

    Love ya,
    Linda

I noticed there was no mention of seeing your fabulous sister… Oh yeah, because you were engrossed in the subtitled documentary about sumo wrestlers. Haha just kidding. It was good to see you.

Made me cry as I know how long the days are with your husband gone. Your words are sweet…. the weekend are a treasure and unless one walks in the shoes you are in it is just not understood. Continue to cherish each moment together and know that I pray for you daily as my heart aches for your separation.
