Ainsley: What do you want to order?
Me: A chicken nugget happy meal.
Ainsley: We don’t have any of those. We have cake… burgers and fries and cheese. We have enchiladas and milk. And ice cream. And ice tea. And fruit cups. What would you like?
Me: I’ll take a cheeseburger with fries and sweet tea.
Ainsley: We don’t have sweet tea. We have ice tea. Or you could have water….. But water isn’t a fun drink so what do you want?
Me: Ice tea, please.
Ainsley: We don’t have ice tea. It was bad so we had to throw it away. It’s not good for you. Would you like some milk?
Me: Are you trying to be ornery?
Ainsley, giggling: No!
Me: Okay. Then I’ll have some milk.
Ainsley: Okay, a cheeseburger with fries and milk.

Oh Leighann I loved this! My daughters used to do that too…and now my granddaughters do it. (They are just about too old to play that way though…so I will have to wait for great- grandkids to play restaurant with! ((smile)) Enjoy it while they are young!
