Kitchen – before and after
December 13, 2013
Wednesday was a bit of a bummer. Since moving into this house I’ve dreamed of turning our laundry room into a mudroom. It’s an incredibly disfunctional room to begin with.

You CAYNT? Areyn’t you getting the hynt yet?
I’m not sure why he can’t but could you not run a water line on the outside of the walls. My guess is there’s some heating duct or pipes, inside the walls, in the way….could you use a flexible hose along the baseboard perhaps. It might not be hidden but it will let you fulfill your dream. There’s ALWAYS a way!!!

I can’t really tell if this would work from the pictures, but can’t you reverse your initial idea and put the stackables where the washer is and have the dryer area be your “kid stuff” area? I know it wouldn’t be as convenient (since the kids area would be at the back of the room), but you could still have 2 uses for that room. Just a thought. Of course, assuming that you could move the dryer vent lines.
oh no, bummer!
sorry
