Ready for the Weekend.

September 24, 2010/Miscellaneous

It’s Friday morning… I am sitting in my bed at almost 11 a.m. planning. Planning for many things and getting nothing accomplished. My brain can’t decide what to do first so I’m trying to do it all at the same time meaning I haven’t actually completed anything. Meal planning, trip planning, and trying to order a book. So far, I have half a week on my menu done, a downloaded ebook I can’t figure out how to open, and my cities picked out without sites narrowed down.

Planning is second nature to me. It’s how I feel in control. But at this moment, I’d rather be resting. Resting is good. I haven’t had much time for it lately. God rested, you know. He rested after creating the world in six days. Jesus rested too. You see verses in the gospels that tell of him going to a quiet place to pray. Who can forget that He was sleeping during a great storm while the disciples were afraid for their lives!

So maybe all this planning is for the birds! I’ll leave you with this little gem:

Rest is good, sometimes I run around and feel like I didn’t accomplish much. I love the video of Ryan how great is that he is such a cutie!

Ha if I makes lists I either don’t stick to them or I lose them so me its a waste of time I could have been doing something on said list.

Ryan is looking fantastic. Soon he will be walking everywhere!!
