I’m typing this really fast so I can update y’all before Ryan starts calling “mom” again. He’s doing well numbers-wise. He woke this morning happy and cheerful and has gotten more frustrated as the day goes on. He wants out of bed and has asked to go home several times, but isn’t strong enough to do much. He’s been busy kicking at my hands, popping bubbles, and throwing his stuffed animals. When he tires, we watch more movies.
No word of moving to the step-down unit yet, we’re still weaning off meds and trying to get his appetite back.
Girls and Henry are coming tomorrow. I’m so excited.

And he is smiling! These are the busier days as you need to keep him occupied when he is awake as well as help him cope with how he is feeling. Thinking of you, and praying for ongoing recovery…and some peace/rest for you.
