Playing catch up.

August 31, 2010/Family

My cousins Richelle, Kim and Sarah came to visit on Saturday along with my sisters Johanna and Christine. Three of them dragged along their men. Aunt Karen (their mom) also came… my mom was busy helping my sister who just had a baby… excuses!

Here are our children… we have children! Agh!

Sarah.

Ryan was so excited with all the attention.

He had plenty of it.

And he made sure to keep attracting it the best he could.

We had so much fun catching up and reminiscing about old times.

Christine gave us all french manicures.

And made peach cobbler.

With Aunt Karen instructing us. We even called Grandma to get clarification on her recipe.

Sarah and Kim grilled burgers and dogs for us.

Ryan hammed it up to make sure we all kept laughing.

Richelle made sure he was entertained.

I love these girls and can’t wait to get together with them again.

What a huge blessing you have in a big family. Ryan looked like he had a wonderful time with all the attention. He is looking not so much like a baby anymore.
    Thank you for sharing.

I had a blast at your place, Leighann! I really hope we can get together again very soon! We are lucky to have such a large and awesome family. I love each and every one!!

Well that looked like a fun gathering of family. And it looked like Ryan loved it! He is so adorable…and I loved seeing him “hamming it up” as you say.

I had to laugh to see Henry and someone else looking at their phone at the table. I still can’t get used to that when all of us are together…everyone has their phones out at all times. Ha!

Glad you all could get together Leighann.

You don’t know me ,but I’ve been keeping up with you ,that big giant of your and those three small hobbits for quite sometime.I been praying for Ryan as if he was my own little boy, because I have only one 12 yr.old son. So,I kinda made it a daily habit to pray for Ryan every time I pray for Camron and trust me I pray for my son many time per day(smile).I KNOW prayer changes things…Ryan look so healthy and happy.I am sure he’s healed ,we just have to except it and believe it in our heads and hearts.Stop wanting him to be healed….when you want, you get more “want”.SPEAK TO IT…know that you know Ryan is HEALED.Don”t worry about what it look like, that tube is the cord that hooks Ryan to GOD’S amazing love, power and grace. It ain’t the tank.Claim it,speak it,believe it.Whisper to him daily “YOU ARE ALL BETTER NOW. Then teach him how to say “thank you”….it’s already done.
