Playing around….

June 4, 2012/Family
Friday night we had our friends, Kenny and Liz Smith over for a game night. We played my future brother-in-law’s game 7 Wonders.

And a game they brought called Labyrinth.

We put the kids down to bed and kept playing until the wee hours of the morning. On Saturday we headed down to the strip for brunch at Pamela’s. Yum!! I got the Tex-Mex omelet.  It hit the spot with chorizo sausage, salsa, guacamole, and sour cream. It was a great blend between breakfast and lunch.

The kids had their fill of chocolate chip pancakes.

He kept asking when his “cakes” would arrive.

She was playing it up for the camera.

This one wanted to order her own food, like a big girl.

After brunch we headed over to the Carnegie Science Center and their Sports Works exhibit. It’s basically a warehouse with some simulators, bungee rides, and things having to do with movement.

Ainsley loved the bungee swing (for lack of a better name)

Natalie loved it too and even tried her hand at a back flip.
She also loved the rock climbing wall.

Here’s almost the entire gang. Liz and Kenny to the right, with Ryan beside them. Their son, Sawyer, next to the fence. My girls to the left of him (see Ainsley sucking her thumb?) and Rowan the last boy on the left with his navy blue shirt.

Ryan pitching a ball.

Henry pitching.

One of the exhibits is a track that will time you sprinting.
Ryan saw us all bending down to start so guess what he did.
Ready, set….
Go….

The kids.

What you’d guy do this weekend?

Ryan looks so much like your bro John in the “cakes” pic!! Carnegie is awesome…haven’t been there in years. Maybe next year.
