Henry and the girls are coming today. I’m so excited. I miss them and they miss me. It’s been a little over two weeks now and they’re ready to see their mommy, especially with everyone talking about Mother’s Day.
Ainsley’s class had a Mother’s Day party yesterday. She was sad I wasn’t there. I was sad I wasn’t there. One of the school staff came in to be her surrogate mom. Not the same, but very sweet. Three moms of kids in her class sent me pictures and tried to help cheer her up. I’m very glad for her sake she’s on her way here after having the party. At least that was some consolation for her.

so happy that your family is finally going to get to spend some time together. It just broke my heart to see your sweet little one so upset that her mommy wasn’t there. I’m sure that was so hard for both of you and as a mom it must have just been heart-wrenching for you. I know she knows how much you love her though and kids really do bounce back quickly from disappointment. A few extra hugs and kisses and she will be fine! I’m praying that Ryan will get to come home soon so you can be back together as a family. ~Melissa Moss
