We knew we wanted to paint the kitchen from the time we moved into this house. I’ve been researching ways to paint cabinets, what paint to use and what style to do them. Because I know my limits and time constraints; because I don’t want to spend a month on one project; and mostly because we found a contractor who quoted us such a reasonable price it would unreasonable to do it any other way – we hired someone to paint them. With Thanksgiving coming we decided now is the time.
So as a person who closes clutter behind closed doors for the sake of sanity, we are living without cabinet doors or drawers for the next few weeks. It’ll be crazy but I can’t wait to see the end result!

I am so the same way, so for me to have no hidey places in the kitchen would makes me BONKERS and OCD with making everthing neat.
