Dottie and Adam sitting in a tree.

December 11, 2012/Family
Ohmygosh!  I’m still catching up from our weekend in Milwaukee. My baby sister, Dottie, got married on Saturday in her new city to our new brother-in-law, Adam! Sunday night our house looked like our car had vomited all its contents into our kitchen. I spent yesterday unpacking every thing and doing laundry. Today, I bring you THE WEDDING!
Dottie was 6 when I got married – she was one of my flower girls. She was always the most girlie of all of us… Ainsley reminds me so much of her. In fact, when I leave a family function, I inevitable call my girls “DJ” and Ryan “John”.

The bridal party….

It was Milwaukee and cold!!  Here’s Dottie keeping warm between pictures. Check out her mint green Uggs to match her wedding colors.

Arriving at the church (they took photos beforehand at the reception site, then came to the church to get dressed again!)

So pretty!
(p.s. Those eyelashes are really hers. The makeup artist said she didn’t need fake ones)

Dottie is a graphic designer. She designed and printed everything to do with the wedding from the invitations to the coloring books.

Program back:
She made these cute little coloring books for the kids. They were a huge hit.
Ainsley giggled when she realized the coloring book picture was “Dottie & Adam”

Natalie and Ainsley were the flower girls and Ryan was the ring bearer. This is the best picture I have of them…. hopefully the photographer got a better one. I can’t even see Ainsley in this pic. She must’ve run on ahead.

After they came down the aisle they sat with me and got right to coloring….
Exchanging rings…
For a lot of the ceremony, they stood like this:

And then Adam got to kiss his bride…

I love his face right here… (Adam’s dad is the officiant…)

The whole time I thought she was wearing her Uggs. I was wrong. She had mint green flats for the ceremony.

Daddy and Ryan during one of the prayers.
Next up: the reception.
