Don’t forget the manuals

June 2, 2011/Tips
With the movers coming next week to pack up and ship our things, I’m going through getting rid of every single thing we don’t need. One item I sometimes forget to purge is our manuals notebook.
I forget where I learned this, but I keep a notebook with all our manuals in protective sleeves. It makes them easy to find and easy to file. The only bad thing is that you sometimes you end up with manuals from the refrigerator of three houses ago.
You can also make a notebook of manuals that come with all your baby/child equipment and toys. When I go to a yard sale and someone still has the manual, it makes the item more appealing to me. Don’t forget to purge these, too!

Great idea, all mine are at the bottom of a kitchen drawer. Thanks!

Don’t purge them, leave them for the new homeowners. They would be so grateful. I did this when we moved.

Wow…you are really good! We are always hunting for our manuals…and they are never all in the same place. That is a great idea. (And when you do need to purge some of them it is no big deal!) Thanks!

I do this too. I also keep a record of anytime anything has been serviced. I also like to keep those cute Spring/ Fall cleaning lists from organized home. 😀 Happy Moving! 😎
