I was going through pictures the other day and was shocked at how easy it is to forget Ryan’s transformation over the last year and a half. Let’s review:
At barely 6 weeks old:
6 months old, right before the Glenn:
After the Glenn and Chest Repair (Sept. 5):
Sept. 21, 2010 – basically one year after surgery.
I missed reminiscing about Ryan’s anniversaries home. You know, like he’s been home the exact amount he was in the hospital, it’s was one year ago today he had his Glenn, etc. I’ve been a little distracted with other things like getting him to eat and crawl! But for those keeping track, he has now lived at home longer than he lived in the hospital. Yeah!
It’s so amazing to see that transformation of a beautiful miracle! I agree that God’s truly blessed him and your family He certainly looks like a happy boy will always continue to pray for you all! :O) love you!
i wish your blog had a ‘like’ button. i love this post! yay ryan! i didn’t realize he’d been home longer than he’d been in the hospital. that’s awesome. katie
