Coming up for air.

June 17, 2011/The Move
It took me a few minutes this morning to realize it’s already Friday. This week’s been packed with saying good-bye to friends and settling into Henry’s Pittsburgh apartment.
Tuesday some good friends got together to see me off… it was hard saying good-bye to everyone knowing I can’t jump in the car and be at their house in five minutes. They all promised to visit and I’m holding them to it!

Henry, Ryan and I arrived Weds night in Pittsburgh in time to hit the sack. On Thursday I headed out with a realtor to try and find a house. We put an offer on a house that has at least five other offers… the market is ridiculous here. We’re praying God’s will is done…. if it isn’t the house for us, that the owners wouldn’t chose our contract. We know if it’s the house God wants for us, our offer will be chosen.
Today’s been quiet. I finally have internet access so I’m busy doing paperwork, research and playing with Ryan. Ryan is loving having me to himself. Hope you have a great weekend. We’ll be exploring our new city.
p.s. The girls are having a good time with their grandparents and aunts in California, but have bouts of homesickness here and there….

Hi Leighann…I liked seeing the picture of you with your sweet girlfriends. I know you will have visits from them in your new place…and that will be fun…but it is always hard to say good-bye. In the meantime you will make new friends and start new adventures…and that is kind of exciting too.

I will be praying for the house situation. I am sure God has a plan for you.

That is great that Ryan has you and daddy all to himself for awhile…but I know he will be happy to see his sissies again before too long.

I am sure your girls are having fun with grandma! I get a couple of my granddaughters for a week, starting tomorrow night, as they will be going to Vacation Bible School here in town. I know we will have fun.

    Take Care!
    Linda

    Hi
My name is Jenna and i came across your site. Ryan is an amazing, courageous, strong and determined fighter. He is a brave warrior, smilen champ and an inspirational hero. I am sure he is enjoying mommy and daddy time, but I am sure he’s missing his sisters. I was born with a rare life threatening disease. http://www.miraclechamp.webs.com
