Thank you for getting Natalie a recorder for her birthday. I share your joy at scoring it for a dollar at the toy store. I love a good bargain too. However, I think I know why it was a dollar.

My Dad bought these singing flowers for the girls. UGH!! They sing you are my sunshine my only sunshine. I know he did it on purpose! I will enjoy giving to my grandchildren just as much. 🙂

I will never forget the Christmas my sister thought it would be cute to give all the cousins (5 at the time) recorders in their stockings. I almost lost my mind! It’s such a shame, but my kids somehow got broken shortly after we got home.
