Dear Sweet Ainsley,
Tomorrow you turn four. You bring abundant joy to our family with your bubbly personality and never-ending smile.

As you grow we can see your BIG personality showing through. You love to write and color with markers. You love to do this on paper, couches, tables, and bodies…. your body, your sister’s body… your baby doll’s body!
You want to make sure you are good at something before trying it. You are shy in a big crowd and with new people, but after a little while to warm up, you turn back into your happy self and become sociable. You are quick to make sure your sister is happy and quick to let her know when you are not!
You have a hard time admitting when you’re wrong and a hard time accepting correction. Many times when we correct you, you are quick to argue or say, “I already know that.” We are working to mold you into a teachable girl who can accept constructive criticism without taking it personally.
You love performing at home for us, but you hate performing for a crowd. You would much rather play with Natalie, Ryan or your friends Savannah and Rebecca than attend a huge party.
You are a night owl, especially if you’ve taken a nap. I desperately try not to let you sleep during the day, but sometimes it’s beyond my control.
You are sweet, smart and silly. Ainsley, we love you so much and are blessed to have you as a part of our family.

I always loved Ainsley’s cute little, “You’re the bead lady, right??” whenever I would come in Ryan’s room without beads. As if to say, “Uh….you’re not doing your job lady!!”
