Weekend to Remember

October 17, 2011/Family
We had a full weekend. Henry’s mom came into town on Friday to visit. We love having Marmi with us. Saturday morning was cold and windy. The girls had games at the same time so Marmi, Ryan and I headed to Ainsley’s game while Henry went with Natalie. Here’s Ainsley on the field. It ended up being so cold I gave her my fleece to wear over her own two layers.

After soccer and lunch we headed downtown to the Carnegie Natural History museum. One thing we love about Pittsburgh is that we still have access to wonderful museums. We were kindof shell-shocked the first time since we’re used to the free entrances at the Smithsonian Museums in DC. We bought a family membership and now it feels free. This was our first time going to the Natural History museum. We were impressed by their hall of mammals and didn’t get to finish with the children’s floor. We can’t wait to go back.

Sisters.
Sunday we just hung out after church, relaxing. The girls played outside for several hours before coming in and watching some movies. We couldn’t have asked for a better weekend. Well, okay, warmer weather on Saturday would’ve been nice…
Looking forward to a quieter week than last week. How ’bout you?
