Ryan’s surgery is in two days. TWO DAYS. Where did the last six weeks go?
I’m craving junk food. I know it’s nerves. I’m trying to ignore it.
I’m having a hard time staying focused on the things I need to do. Items are getting crossed off, but not fast enough.
Today looks to be a busy day… grocery shopping, laundry, packing, returning library books!, and packing Natalie’s things for an overnight event with her Brownie troop. Hopefully I can get it all done before soccer practice tonight. Henry, Ryan and I will leave just after that.
Will be praying for your sweet boy on Friday. And for you, too–for peace to follow you in the days and weeks to come. I’m praying that Ryan will have no difficulties and little pain through this whole thing and that you will just feel God walking with you in these days.
Do not hesitate to call if you need anything. I would even drive downtown to bring you something. Even if that something was a snack you were craving. I will email you my new cell phone number.
This is your Mom, Sweetie. Take a deep breath and remember the Lord’s first message. Everything is going to be alright. It is all in His loving hands. He is in control and He alone knows the plan. Don’t forget to take Ryan his angry bird blanket. You may need it 🙂 I love you. I will be in prayer for you all. Love ya
