The hobbits came last night to meet their little sister and they were infatuated. Of course they all wanted to hold Piper and get to know her.
The boys came to visit today. Ryan watched some cartoons while daddy and Piper bonded.
Piper was alert today and more fussy. She loves to suck so we’ve been going back and forth between cluster feedings and the pacifier. My pain level is confusing, sometimes great (meds!) and other times not so good (rough to shower and put on socks!). I’m looking forward to my incision healing and thankful we are lined up with family coming for the next week and a half.
We are set to leave on Saturday so one more day of hospital life. Can’t wait to get home.
So sweet!! Praying for you in your recovery! I’m so glad you get to stay those extra days in the hospital (even though there’s no place like home…). Enjoy the mandatory rest time while it lasts 🙂
