So my mom doesn’t live in a shoe, but she does have a lot of kids! We are all ‘in town’ this week for the holiday. My sisters were sweet enough to drive to see me on Tuesday. It was only fair since I drove to see them Sunday. And stayed the night without the help of the night nurse. And had to drive – missing the fireworks – when I realized I’d forgotten one of Ryan’s meds. Ugh!
But back to Tuesday: we sat around and chatted like we wish we always could. However, we all live in different states… West Virginia, Virginia, Kentucky, Florida…. our kids played like they are always together.
Abby acted as if all toddlers have tubes coming from their noses to help them breathe and eat. She was more concerned about helping Ryan figure out his toy. I love kids. And the way they think.
Kael found an Indian head dress, but thought it was something else. “Kael, what are you?” his mom asked. We really didn’t know. “A chicken!” Kael exclaimed. A chicken, right. What were we thinking?
A chicken, how did you not get that the first time around LOL! I love the way little minds think.
Ryan looks fantastic sitting there all by his big self!!
Have you gotten into your home yet? We are all walking around a packed house(they come to do the garage today). I am excited for Friday when the Movers will come and get everything, one more week until the cross country stint.
Is Ryan starting to show an interest in crawling? The way he’s sitting in that picture looks like he’s getting ready to take off. I think you’re going to need a longer oxygen cord (and I’m anxiously awaiting the day when you finally say goodbye to it for good!!!)
