Our neighbor has a tradition she started a few years ago with her kids. She invited all of us moms from the bus stop to join her this year in pegging the kids with water balloons and shooting them with water guns as they get off the bus to start the summer.

Natalie said to Mrs. Foody, “Why are we doing this?” Mrs. Foody explained, “Because school’s over and it’s time for summer fun!”
