My brain is mush. I keep meaning to get the kids on a better schedule, but since coming home from California the girls don’t fall asleep before 9:30, if I’m lucky. So there’s no summer to do list this summer. I’m totally flying by the seat of my pants and it….. does not rock. But I’m getting used to it… kindof…. not really. Okay, I hate it. But at this point I’m so overwhelmed with being on vacation at my mom’s and sister’s that I can’t think about having a to do list.
The reality is with moving AGAIN I have no idea what to put on the list. But I will tell you this. Both girls learned to tie their shoes last weekend. It was on the list last year so I feel like we accomplished something.
Don’t worry though. We are doing fun things. We visited cousins and grandmothers (both of them). We swam and watched fireworks. We met new friends and went to a professional baseball game.
We just don’t have a list. And I like lists. Really, really like them.

We haven’t put the list to paper, oh but it exists!
1. meet Daddy at his office and go out to lunch
2. go to the Leesburg Outlets and ride the rides
3. finger paint
Our list this year includes “visit a cave”. I agreed to that one before looking up the cost of Luray and finding out it is $26 per person. So not sure if every item will get marked off our list this summer or not. LOL! I wonder if the bat cave at the national zoo would count…
