I just got a call from Dr. K. He wants to keep Ryan in one more day. His electrolytes are off and he is spitting up with his feeds, so he would like to keep him one more day. We’ll try again tomorrow.
Just another thought. It’s easy to praise God when things go our way, but sometimes it’s harder to praise Him when He does things in His time and His way. He’s worthy of praise all the time!
Oh – I’ve missed a couple days…and look what happens! He is coming home!! I know there has been a delay..but its so close!! It is beyond exciting – even for those of us who just follow along on the blog!! I pray it will be everything all of you have dreamed about – and more!!
Do not worry, “The Day” is coming very, very soon! He will be in his perfect little room at home with just normal “baby” stuff on the walls to look at. Yay!!!
I heard about Ryan from your sister Amy in small group over a year ago – when we started praying for his birth! How exciting for him to be coming home soon! It brought tears of JOY, God is sooo good!! Hopefully tomorrow will REALLY be the Day. Your family is precious beyond words, so exciting to be able to witness answered prayers through your blog 🙂

Oh, that set back definitely had to hurt a bit. Although, you did say you wouldn’t believe it until you had him in your car.

Sometimes it is so hard to wait on the “LORD”… his timing is not always our timing but his is PERFECT!

Wait till he jams the piggies up in his mouth! That is the cutest thing, when that happens!
