Like I said, we came home and it snowed. The very next night. We woke up Tuesday to a few inches that melted in the afternoon sun. It snowed AGAIN that night which of course melted in the afternoon. It’s like the weather is schizophrenic! Winter in the morning and fall in the afternoon.
The kids love it though. And I prefer it over cold, winter rain. Especially because there hasn’t been any shoveling involved.
Wednesday after school, the kids made a snowman on the deck.
Yeah, I know. On the deck.
Our deck is shaded from the afternoon sun by our house so while the snow on the hill melted, the snow on the deck did not… either day. So they piled it all together and made a snowman… or more like a snow mound.
They were very proud of it.
I have a feeling we’re in for a serious winter.
