Natalie and the National Gallery

April 15, 2010/Natalie
Natalie’s kindergarten class visited the National Gallery of Art on Wednesday, March 17. Each grade studies two classical artists per year and then visits the gallery to see the paintings up close and personal. Natalie was so excited to go on this field trip. Here she is with some classmates waiting to get on the bus.
At the museum.
Group discussion…
Listening intently…
Studying intently…
They learned about still life and portraits this year. You can see Natalie’s little cheek and wispy bangs in the front row, left.
They sat and did renditions of the paintings.
Henry was lucky enough to be a chaperone. On the bus ride home…
After a long, but fun, day.

You have got some great photos. l really like the picture of Henry and Natalie together. There is just something cute about Daddy’s holding their little girls. 🙂 So cute.

Natalie is adorable. I can’t believe they look at paintings and then do their own renditions in KINDERGARTEN…. amazing.

Is it me or she a foot taller than everyone else? What a great trip for a kindergartener! ( see I can’t even spell it).
