My girls are uh-maze-ing! They haven’t been to the hospital with me the past 10 days and by Friday, the security guard and the parking validation lady had asked “where are the girls?”  They are so friendly and memorable…just a few things I don’t want to forget in the midst of all the excitement:

Natalie said to me this morning, “I do want to see Ryan again. When do I get to go back to the hospital?” I thought it was the sweetest thing that she misses him and wants me to know that while she is enjoying all these play dates, she also wants to see her brother. Once I assured her she would see him again – tomorrow! – and that mommy and daddy had to go to the hospital alone today to learn how to take care of Ryan at home, she was satisfied.
Henry took Natalie to get a booster seat this weekend in preparation for fitting three car seats in my car. She showed me the cup holders and said, “This is where you put your drinks. But you can put more than just drinks here….you can put toys, and rocks, and stuff.”
I took the bassinet out today to prepare for Ryan’s homecoming (have I mentioned yet that he’s coming home – tomorrow?!), Natalie was so excited about Ryan’s bed. Ainsley wanted to get in it. I told her, “That’s for little babies.”  “I yittle.” she said. “No, you’re big.” I replied. A few minutes later I heard the girls saying things like. “Put it right there” and “That’s Ryan’s” and “Get that one”.. they had one of Ryan’s blankets (that was gifted to him with his name on it) and several stuffed animals and they were making his bassinet up for him. So cute.
I installed Ryan’s car seat base in my car over the weekend. Ainsley keeps pointing to it and saying, “That’s where baby Ryan goes.”

I am so excited for you! We were only in the hospital for a couple weeks and I know how happy we were to be home. The girls are so sweet and sounds like they will be very helpful. It is quite obvious that they love their little bro very much.
