This morning was rather odd. I got the kids ready for school, we rushed to the car, buckled in, turned the key and…. nothing. Not even a click.
So not fun.
But it’s started thanks to a jump from a friend. Natalie is at school. And we are home waiting until it’s time for Ainsley to head to school.
I’d like to say Ryan is better…
But this is what he did when I asked him to smile. Then proceeded to gag/cough up his cheerios and water when I got him out of his chair. In case you’re wondering, cheerios smell like tuna fish the second time around. Yuck!
And Ainsley woke up in a great mood.
Here she is lecturing me about something… can’t exactly remember, but it was something I said that now I wasn’t doing or something like that… I wish I hadn’t cut off her hands in this picture… she has them out to the side explaining in detail what I’m doing wrong.
Does anyone think it’s strange that she doesn’t crack a smile the whole time while I’m flashing away with my camera. She was dead serious through the whole exchange as if she’s used to having papparazzi in the house.
She’s better now.
Ryan however moved on to begging for “Baby Signing Time”. He’s addicted and mad I won’t let him watch it 24 hours a day.
Don’t worry, though. I didn’t let him cry long. He’s helping me type right now.
So on to another day in the Marquiss home…

Well you hang in there Momma…things will get better. Like you said…”it can only go up from here!”
I’m praying for ya,
Linda
Need a new battery? I just replaced mine this past Friday. I went to Advance Auto Parts, and I was in and out of the store in less than 10 minutes (which includes installation.) I don’t know if you have any stores in your neck of the woods, but the store in Hagerstown rocked.
Little Ryan is awfully cute when he’s mad. I’m sure it’s hard not to give in to him. My little guy used to cry to watch Baby Signing Time, too.
And I can imagine little Ainsley lecturing you. It’s such a four-year-old thing. My little girl lectured my mom the other day for having her tea in the living room (when drinks are not allowed outside of the kitchen!)
What a funny post today! As for the regurgitated cheerios smelling like tuna… Ew. As for Ainsley being oblivious to the snapping camera… Very funny! And have you considered baby signing -time anonymous for ryan? It appears that he has a real problem tee hee. Hope tomorrow is more boring than today was. Love you, katie
