This year the kids chose to go to our church’s trunk or treat (basically a parking lot of decorated cars to trick or treat from instead of a neighborhood) instead of trick or treating in our neighborhood. It was coooold, but oh-so-easy. No long walkways to walk up, no scary doors, and lots of familiar faces.

Ainsley leaned in for a picture so Ryan leaned in too and smiled. (Her hair is growing, huh!)
On Sunday, I was showing, Sharon, Ryan’s nurse how now when I bring out the camera and say, ‘smile’ Ryan actually smiles. Here is his camera pose.
And finally, we celebrated Henry’s birthday. He is such a great man and father. Love you, babe.
