We’ve been playing Sequence for Kids during dinner. It’s really fun to see the girls figure things out. Many times they end up winning.

Last year Ainsley stuck pieces down randomly based on how much she liked an animal. This year she seems to understand she is trying to make a sequence.

Natalie is figuring out she can block people to keep them from winning and is bent on doing so even if the person is no where near winning. She’s just happy to box you in.

I am happy to be spending time with the girls having fun…

Ainsley telling me she has four cards.

The look on Natalie’s face when she realized I can win the game on my next turn. (“You have the elephant, don’t you?”)

Natalie laughing because she had a wild card and blocked my win.

Ainsley holding the cards in her little hand.

How sweet Leighann. I used to love to play games with my three girls when they were little. And the youngest one would sit on the table too! (:>)

I have never played Sequence..but I might have to check it out for the grandkids.

I used to flub up on purpose so the girls could win. (:>)

    Have a good day!

We love this game too! Another one that is really fun is a card game called Ruckus, it can be hard to find but it so fun! And it’s one that truly all ages enjoy and can play.

Enjoy! See you at this year’s date night!?

I can’t wait til my kids are old enough to play games!! I have some card holders that I used to use with my nephews since their little hands have a hard time holding all the cards. You can find them at Walmart and Target. Or you could try a DIY craft…I know you like those 🙂 I think it helps kids enjoy card games more because they don’t spend half the game getting frustrated with their cards!
