January always feels fresh to me. It’s like springtime for my soul as I look at a clean, new year with fresh eyes and a hopeful heart.
I used to set a gazillion new year’s resolutions. My eyes were way bigger than my stomach when it came to listing out ways I could make the new year better (shocker, I know).
This year, I’m limiting it to a few goals. Ones that focus on health, relationships, and personal growth.
I’m trying to focus on things I really want to do as opposed to things I think I should do. Goals that make me feel more alive, and don’t leave me feeling defeated the moment I write them down.
I’m working on breaking my goals down into concrete action plans so they aren’t too vague or over the top. I want to make them less overwhelming and more doable.
(TIP: set goals that are SMART – specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, and done in an acceptable time frame. For example, “I want to exercise more” becomes “I want to exercise 20 minutes, Monday, Weds, and Friday at 6 am. I will walk/run/take a spinning class, ect.”)
If you have resolutions you’re working in this year, would you consider allowing me to walk beside you as a coach?
With 25% of people giving up on New Year’s resolutions within a week, and 60% giving up within the first 6 months, now is the time to invest in yourself.
I have a few spots left for January and would love to come along beside you to help you get where you are to where you want to be. Email me for details.
