One day down, several more to go in spring break.

We spent Monday shopping for Easter dresses and getting groceries. I remembered why I don’t take kids to the grocery store. I literally couldn’t see straight when we left Walmart. I was on limited time to get back to relieve Ryan’s nurse so I was huffing through the aisle with two girls fighting and asking for everything they could get their grubby hands on. I knew it wasn’t going to be good when less than 60 seconds into the store Ains was crying and I had to threaten to go sit in the car till she was ready to shop. Ugh!
But we made it out alive. Barely. And I’m hoping not to repeat the trip any time soon.
Okay, today it’s a play date, sweeping and mopping for a showing at 1 o’clock, and dinner (made by me) for Henry’s coworkers in town with him.
What about you?

Hubby comes home after being on travel so I may just go and hide out in my room and take an hour or 2 of down time. Hubby will leave again on wed, so this may be the only time I get. I don’t like to take the Little’s into the store with me too often. They have a bad case of the “Gimmies” right now. Good luck with the showing today.

oh wow. I think that’s really cool that you’re making dinner for Henry’s coworkers! Is Henry liking the new job? And, going to walmart unaccompanied sounds like a fate worse than death so I cannot even imagine taking two children along. You prove yourself to be braver & braver all the time!
    Love you,
