Henry and the girls headed out Saturday night for the Girl Scouts’ Father/Daughter Dance. Natalie and Henry went to one a couple years ago at our church in Virginia. This is Ainsley’s first. They were both really excited to go and pretty much centered their day on getting ready. They both bathed and painted their nails. The theme was Mardi Gras so they also spend some time making Mardi Gras masks (not pictured). When they returned here’s what they had to say about their special evening:
“I had the best time of my life. Dancing and playing with daddy. I got some beads and I saw my friends, and I saw of some my classmates.” Natalie
(Ainsley in the background) “to the left, to the left, to the left, to the left. To the right, to the right.
“I had an awesome weekend. With my daddy. I went to a dance with him. It was awesome. We got to stay up until 9:44!” Ainsley
Saw a lot of other families doing the same this weekend on FB. So glad to see all the dads engaging with their daughters.
