When I stripped Ryan’s shirt off to put on his hospital gown he rubbed his chest and said, “Bath, bath.” “Not bath,” I said, “… cath. Ka, ka, ka, cath.” “G, g, g, gath,” Ryan said. Close enough.
I woke up this morning when Ainsley hit me in the face at 4:45. My adrenalin immediately soared. I groaned. I wasn’t due to get up for another 45 minutes but I knew it’d be extremely hard to fall back to sleep. I was right.
Ryan and I hit the road at 6:15 am to head down to Children’s hospital for his annual cath. We arrived at 7:15. I spent the last 2 hours keeping him happy while we waited for our turn in the cath lab. He’s asleep now and they are starting the procedure. Realistically it will be between 3 and 4 hours. Please pray for his safety. We may be spending the night but I won’t know until after the procedure.
I’ll update the blog when I have more information.
