While we’re on the subject of farming, I might as well tell you I love cows. I’m not asking you to understand it, just to accept it.

They seem like such peaceful animals, docile in their own way. I dream of having a brown Jersey cow. I find them the most beautiful and they make the creamiest milk!! (btw, I don’t actually drink milk, but I like the idea of having the creamiest cow!) While I normally go for the literal cow (or sheep!) painting like the one above, I saw this one the other day and couldn’t help myself.

I have no idea where she’s going, but I bought her. At this point, I don’t care if she greets me every day when I open my closet as long as she hangs on my walls. Should we name her? Beatrice? Belle? Gertie? Help me name her!

I love cows and pigs too! I’m the same way…sometimes a painting or a figurine will just ‘speak’ to me and I have to have it! She looks like an Annabelle to me 🙂

You can name her like my sister-in-law does for her cows that she raises on her farm (although hers are always male cows)….porter, sirloin, chuck, ribeye and mignon. Not kidding. It used to traumatize my kids every summer (and me too). Nothing like commenting on what an awesome burger my father-in-law made and then have him smile and wink at me and say….remember that beautiful cow last year that you loved with the white eyebrows….

Well, I used to have a cow and we named her Flossie! I can relate to what Wendy said about being tramatized as we would name all of our animals on our small farm. To this day I refuse to eat rabbit.
