I’ve been talking about organization lately. A sickness, er I mean, passion of mine. So my sister talked me into having a catalog show for Thirty-One Products. Thirty-One products is a company that exists to make our lives prettier and easier all at the same time.
For example, I think this will be my new best friend….
It’s called the mini-organizer and it’s only $15. My sister uses it to compartmentalize all her electronic cords in the outside pockets and her gadgets in the center. Genius I tell you. She must be related to me! I’m stealing her idea because at the moment I’m using a plastic bin where the cords look like a pile of spaghetti and can be hazardous to separate. I like this new system already and I haven’t even gotten the thing in the mail yet!
Enter the next cute product, stage right. A basket that can become a picnic basket, deck table organizer, or a magazine basket (a toilet paper roll also fits on the spindle). L o v e.

But it doesn’t stop there…
The Cinch Sack ($20) for the girls to put their overnight belongings in or after-school items for soccer, ballet, or karate. Neither have a great bag for this purpose and I love that Thirty-One Products personalizes items for only $6.

This picture is of the All-In-One Organizer, The Organizing Utility Tote (they also have a large utility tote which is amazing), and the Thermal Tote. I want to point out the All-In-One-Organizer on the left which is typically $18. It’s $9 this month if you order $31 worth of other products. Each time you spend $31, you qualify for another 1/2 price All-In-One. They make great teacher gifts. Or library totes as shown. It makes me want to head to the library right now so I can look cute.

In addition to the Thermal Tote, they have several other thermal options which are great for the park, the beach, or bringing home meat and frozen goods from the grocery store. The Market Thermal Tote (below in the circle pattern) is a good example of their larger options.
I know I mentioned personalization, but did I mention they’ll also put your kids on your bag?
They can switch the color of hair, skin, clothes, and shoes to customize them to your liking. They cannot make them clean their rooms or be nice to their siblings though much to my dismay.
You know I don’t push items very often on my blog. When I do it’s because I believe in their quality and functionality. I’ve been carrying around the Large Utility Tote and Organizing Utility Tote all week. I love them. I don’t want to give them back to my sister. I want to cuddle with them at night and let them carry my belongings during the day.
But enough about me. Let’s talk about how you can own your very own Thirty-One products. Click on this link to get to Amy’s event page. Or if the link doesn’t work, you can log onto www.mythirtyone.com/17508 to get to Amy’s consultant page. Then click on “My Events” which will pull up a lists of active parties.
Although you may be tempted to help someone else out, click on my name, Leighann Marquiss, and the shop now button. Then start thinking about end-of-year teacher gifts, birthday gifts, and Christmas gifts. They have a range of styles and fabrics for all ages and tastes…. believe me. Amy wouldn’t wear my clothes and I wouldn’t wear hers and we both love products in this catalog!
For those who are not local to me (the items are typically shipped to the hostess), you can pay $4 to have it shipped directly to you! Yeah, we all can get in on the action!

Very cute stuff, I will look more later when I have time. But one quick caution first… most police officers will tell you to NOT put your child’s name on the outside of their belongings where a stranger can see it. The stranger (a bad one obviously) can then use the child’s name and they seem more friendly or safe b/c “they know my name.”

Just a thought… you could do their initials instead or we have picked a color for each child and that’s always their color for things like toothbrushes, lunch boxes, tote bags, soccer balls, etc Anything we can personalize with color, we do.

I wanted to say two things. One Jennifer already said, so that’s taken care of immediately.

The second is that I have been pondering on something better to do with my bowl of cords. Let alone that I cannot actually find the one I need at the time I need it, I have a BOWL of CORDS. It is driving me crazy! I also love the cooler bag…just might need to invest in a few of these.

I can’t wait to take a look!! And an FYI for people who need to organize cords/chargers, etc. (and want to save the cute bag for something cuter), I’ve heard of people using empty toilet paper and paper towel rolls to store the cords in. Then simply write on the outside of the tube what the cord goes to! I’m trying to convince my hubby to do that with his tub of cords 🙂

Ok…heading over to look at the cool bags now!!

No joke, I was just online looking at the large utility tote last night. I need it for baseball quite badly! Last season a bunch of the baseball moms had a party and I missed it and that large bag has proved to be the best field tote ever! I will certainly check it out through your link if I decide to order right now. So excited. Didn’t know when you spent 31 you got a half price item, super cool!
Note on using the toilet paper tubes for cords… this totally works and they last for, well years if you cover them with cute shelf paper (semi laminating kind you buy at Walmart). My step-mom got me started on this, she has some on her hairdryer and iron from 15 years ago!!!

Jennifer and Sara -Thanks for the advice on personalization. I already told Natalie it would be her initial so strangers wouldn’t know her name. She liked the idea. Believe me, I grew up in the DC area during the Adam Walsh tragedy. We’re all about kidnapping safety in our house.

I’m so glad someone “seconded that emotion” (quick name that song – oh yeah you youngin’s may not know it )

Anyway, I’m so glad someone else thought of the ‘no name’ rule – I didn’t want to be an alarmist – chicken-little.

    Cheers!
