Hey lovelies,
This is where I say HAPPY FRIDAY! Big things are happening next week. B.I.G. things. First, Ryan turns 6. He’s been planning his birthday party for the last month, been asking about when he’s “celebrity” of the week at preschool, and already made his About Me poster pretty much by himself earlier this week after much, much begging. It’s official. The boy is all about gaining another year.
Secondly, we are starting the Easter Journey on Wednesday. I’m hoping all of you will join us and tell your friends about this fun devotional. The supply list goes up Sunday so you can be prepared. (Hint: You need scripture memory verses -to be supplied – and crescent rolls for Ash Wednesday) If you follow me on Instagram, you saw this picture I posted of the planning calendar I made while writing the devotional last year. I ran across it yesterday.
Because I won’t be posting much else other than the devotional for the next 6 weeks, I’m inviting you to get the inside scoop by following me on Instagram @leighannmarquiss Even after the devotional, I’ll continue posting “micro-blogs” there. It’s such a fun little app that allows me to post a photomontage of what goes on behind the scenes in our house. I’ve found it harder and harder to get long, detailed posts up here and this gives us a way to really connect. You can like and comment, just like on Facebook. An example of what I post is this photo of Piper. Clearly I need lessons in parenting!

This could be tips I’m learning with my kids, marriage, faith… recipes we’ve tried and loved, style-tips I’m learning from Stitch Fix, and more.
