Henry was a sweetie and watched the kids Saturday morning so I could thrifting with some friends. Thrifting is like my crack cocaine. Not joking. I grew up going to antique stores and junk stores with my mom… I’m so trained that even as an adult I automatically put my hands behind my back when I enter an antique store.
I wasn’t looking for anything particular on Saturday for myself, but was helping my friends with some of their needs. I knew I would find something though! Our first stop a large store in the area called Thrift King. It was much like The Unique Thrift Store in Virginia. Then Amanda took me to a place called Junk for Joy. She warned me it was a place you had to really dig through and not be bothered by a musty smell. I had an adrenaline rush in that exact moment!

Adam and I stopped by some goodwills. We didn’t find anything but we’re going to hit up some more this week. It’s so fun!
I love yard sales, thrift stores, estate sales. Then I watch that show Horders and my resolve not to become one stops me in my tracks from bringing stuff home.
I love it. My friend Penny and I always stop at the thrift shops on the way home from the beach.
Too funny. I always walk through antique stores with my hands behind my back too!!!!!
