It’s starting off to be a stellar week! Thursday and Friday I was out of pocket as Ryan, Piper, and I headed off to the DC Metro area for his MRI and my speaking engagement. It was a whirlwind trip, but I was able to see several friends whom I rarely get to see in person and I loved every minute of it. We haven’t gotten the results of the MRI, but when I do, I’ll let everyone know.
I arrived home just after midnight on Friday and woke up Saturday morning feeling off. Within an hour of waking I was so violently ill any movement of the bed made me want to vomit, which I did on several occasions. I can’t remember the last time I was that sick. (okay, yes I can. It’s when I had morning sickness with Piper.) I was functional by Sunday morning, but just the act of showering and eating toast exhausted me so I had to lie back down for a small two hour nap before finishing out the day. Whew!
This morning, or better yet, in the night, I was awakened by both Henry and Natalie for whom the stomach bugpoclypse had started. Oh the joy.
So today, while I’m trying to catch up on bills and paperwork and all the end-of-year goodness that comes with school finishing up, I’ll also be taking care of my lovies. Here’s hoping they make it to the toilet every single time. {cheers}
What’s up for you guys this week?

Sorry to hear your family caught the bug. Praying no one else catches it. This week is graduation week at the Naval Academy and that means one thing…the BLUE ANGELS!!! They practice tomorrow and their show is Wednesday. It is fun hearing and watching them fly over our house and seeing them perform at the USNA. If you haven’t seen them, and you are ever given the opportunity, GO…you will not be disappointed!

oh NO!!! i’m so sorry!!! yuck!
so sorry the bug has found your place but every thankful that you got back home before it hit. I’m excited to go and eat lunch at school with 2 of my grands – one is Kindergarten and one in first grade but they are going to let them both eat with me at the same time. Not exciting was seeing that “fish taco’s” are on the menu – I haven’t been in a school cafeteria in about 30 years so it should be interesting. We are also working on Hee-Haw night with the youth which is coming up – Flat Natalie joined us last year
So sorry to hear you and others are sick! Praying for quick recovery for all!
Sorry you are all not feeling well! Isn’t it interesting though how God lets us mom either get it first or last, so we can help everyone else get through it!
Gillian missed her stand partner last night! Hope she is feeling better and no one else catches it!
