Ryan got his first real boo-boo this week. He did a face-plant while crawling out from under the kitchen table.
His lip gushed blood and I had different thoughts than when the girls hurt themselves.
I knew he would smile again soon, but I immediately thought, “I wonder how long until his blood will clot.” You see, Ryan takes aspirin every day to thin his blood helping his heart work easier. When he has a hospital procedure, we hold his aspirin for three days prior so he doesn’t have any hemorrhaging issues. Wouldn’t you know that boy’s lip clotted up just like it should. It was perhaps a little wetter for a little longer than normal, but it wasn’t anything to worry about.
I know you must have been nervous and wondering if it would clot fast enough, I would have been that way too…but God is faithful…and praise God it worked out fine!
Ryan looks like he took it pretty good! Atta boy Ryan!!
