This week is rather crazy schedule-wise. Two curriculum nights at school, soccer practice, a mommy’s-helper job for Natalie… and that’s just the evenings. Monday I was in the house a total of 1 hour before 8:15 pm. Several meetings and a Girl Scout meeting put me out and about all day. I used my trusty crockpot to make a delicious roast with carrots and potatoes – the house smelled amazing when we walked in to eat dinner.
This is what it looks like when you don’t have time to clean up after everyone. The girls even unloaded the dishwasher for me, but I was too wiped out to load it last night! I guess we know what I’ll be doing today.
LOL, great to know you are human…I love a clean kitchen and island how long do I get to keep it that way. a few hours and then its back to its normal cluttered. The clutter drives me nuts since you can see it when the front door is open so any one who stops by gets to see the mess…I need a full time maid.
OH I needed this today. With 4 kids (13,10,2, and 10 months) it’s such a struggle to keep up with school, ball schedules, the babies and I work 31 hours a week. I left the house a mess this morning! Glad to know that I’m not alone! 🙂 Thanks for sharing!
I love that you posted this picture! I need to show it to my husband so he knows our house is not the only one that can get out of control in less than a day:)
At least you have the excuse of three small children…MIne looked that bad too this week, only I am down to one kid and he is 16 and never home. I am working on 5 different work projects out of my home office this week and poor Pat has come home to dishes every night! Even worse…I had two full days that I never got out of my PJ’s. Just got up in the morning and went right to the computer without ever getting dressed. Grateful for the work, but feeling a bit out of control on the home front. Thanks for the picture it made me feel better!
