I’ve been spending a little time reading this book… Wherever the River Runs by Kelly Minter.
It’s been good for me and in some ways sums up a little of what I’ve been feeling lately. I find myself having a sort of rebirth at the age of 37. I’m asking a lot of “Why” lately. Not the traditional “why is this happening to me?” question, but the “why do I do things this way, approach things this way?” “What motivated me to choose this or that?” And answering those whys have led me to other whys which have led me to some pretty eye-opening things. And realizing those things have led me to consider who I want to be going forward. It’s been an interesting process to say the least. One that will continue for awhile, I’m sure. In the meantime, I’ll be reading some good books with a cup of hot tea.
