Ryan had another ECHO and check-up yesterday to make sure his cortratriatus membrane is still flaccid. I documented the visit with pictures. Of course, I didn’t think of doing this until after the ECHO so there aren’t any pictures of that, but there are plenty of others.
Once in the exam room, Ryan found the stickers before it was time. He patiently waited until after the check-up to pick one out.
Blood pressure cuff on one arm…
While getting his O2 saturations measured on his toe.
His O2 saturations jump all over the place. The highest we saw was 76 which is a great improvement on a few months ago (hovering in the 50s) and basically baseline from last summer.
Getting a routine EKG. We call the leads stickers. He puts up with them pretty well.
Finally got a sticker (he chose Dora) while waiting for a consultation with the doctor.
The cardiologist said Ryan’s lungs sound great. The ECHO shows a reading of 2-3 on the membrane which is awesome. A little over two weeks to go….

Glad to hear everything is tracking like you and the docs expect it to. Will the procedure be done in PA or DC?
If in DC, I could bring you some Energy Bites. 🙂 That’s assuming they still allow PB into hospitals. 🙂
